Summary: ELIT/zOS maintenance release 13.01 contains an enhancement that allows for optional customer eMail notifications upon successful and/or failed unload activity. Email notification is enabled via the ‘Notify=’ and ‘eMail=’ parameter settings in the filename table.
Email notification can be specified for the following: (a) only if a delay or failure occurs (“fail mail”) or (b) for all successful unloads or if a delay or failure occurs (“success and fail mail”). For fail mail there are four different levels of notification available. See the updated “ELIT/zOS User’s Guide” or the ELIT CHIP Filename Table help screens for additional information on the eMail notify options.
