Scope: All HP mainframe systems supported by the National MVS SOFTWARE support team. Effective Date: 01/12/2010
Group Name: National MVS SOFTWARE support team
Affected Locations: All sites running CA-View and / or CA-Deliver
Summary: All sites will be upgraded to CA-View V11.6 and CA-Deliver V11.6

Upgrading before being forced to upgrade will allow us to complete the upgrade on our own timeline. Upgrading CA-View and CA-Deliver, where installed together, will ensure compability between the products.
Benefits to Users: The new feature documented by the vendor are: 1. The strong encryption needed to support PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliance 2. The ability to use Electronic Software Delivery (ESD) PAX—the installation process. 3. Large Data Set Support 4. Improved STATUS command 5. An encryption health check 6. Backward compatibility with CA View V11.0 and V11.5 7. Native PDF indexing 8. PAV support 9. Enhanced flexibility for AFP report printing 10. Output limit when reprinting large reports 11. New functionality for user exit SARSTCUX and SARFVCUX 12. New feature code to bypass SAREAS in SARBCH/LOAD 13. CA View health checks 14. CA brand identity
Details: Each system will receive the upgrade in line with normal change control procedures.
