Scope:
The CA-DISK software will be upgraded from version 12.0.0 to version 12.5.0
on all HP mainframe systems supported by the National MVS Software Support Team.
CA-DISK is a hierarchical data storage management system. It provides automatic
backup and recovery, archival and restore, idle space release, reporting, and
many additional disk and tape storage management functions.
Effective Date:
The rollout will begin 11/19/2011 with Service Center RFCs scheduled with
the MVS Maintenance Window IPLs.

Affected Locations:
All HP mainframe systems supported by the National MVS Software Support Team.
Summary:

5 new health checks to monitor the parameter settings and CA Disk activities.

DASD Storage management and reporting tool.
CA-DISK 12.5.0 includes new health checks to monitor the parameter settings and
CA Disk activities along with maintenance to maintain software currency.
