Summary: CA InterTest / SymDump for CICS v11.0 AC00 is being implemented.
Justification: To maintain current software levels, V11.0 also fixes few reported issues.
Details: CA InterTest/SymDump v10.0 will be upgraded to CA InterTest / SymDump for CICS
v11.0.
The products are being installed together, as CA packaged the products together starting
V10.0.
CA-Common Debug Component needs to be Installed, as a pre-req for CA InterTest / SymDump
for CICS v11.0.
No User action is required, current V10.0 ALIAS names are carried forward to V11.0.
The current CA InterTest/SymDump v10.0 dataset alias names are:
CA InterTest for CICS:
CICS.INTERTST.CABALOAD
CICS.INTERTST.CAVHLOAD
CA SymDump for CICS:
CICS.SYMDUMP.CABALOAD
CICS.SYMDUMP.CAVHLOAD
Future expected changes:
Consolidate and Replace the above 4 ALIAS’s to below.
Intertest/Symdump Complexes
CICS.ITSTSYMD.CAVHLOAD
Intertest Only Complexes
CICS.INTERTST.CAVHLOAD
Symdump Only Complexes

CA Intertest for CICS Users:
If there is a problem displaying variable length data storage field in a program
compiled with a COBOL 5.1 or Above.
Only if there is an issue, the user has to recompile the program.
NEWER version of IN25COB2 has to be used to refresh the program source listing.
For example: Enterprise COBOL 4.2 will not have this problem
CA Symdump for CICS users:
CA SymDump for CICS users will need to change the name of the SymDump dump print
program from IN25PDMP to IN69PDMP (for use with CICS TS5.2)
or IN71PDMP (for use with CICS TS 5.4).
