Summary: CA InterTest/SymDump for CICS v 85 fixlib AD00 is being implemented.
Justification: To maintain current software levels and to meet prerequisites for planned CICS upgrade/implementation of CICS TS 4.2.
Benefits to Users: AD00 fixlib maintenance will help prevent issues that might occur due to the upgrade of CICS TS to version 4.2. It will permit cics application programs to be debugged online with Intertest for cics; And, it will allow application transaction dump analysis and resolution to be performed in cics with Symdump for application programs without any hindrance. This maintenance is a pre requisite for implementing CICS TS 4.2.
Details: CA InterTest/SymDump v85 will be upgraded to HP maintenance level AD00 on all systems that are currently scheduled for upgrade of CICS TS 4.2. The upgrade target date for each system will be published in the Service Center RI for the complex. Affected IPC's include: AHIPC, CHIPC, CLIPC, CSAA, DYIPC, PLIPC, SAIPC, BRIP, RAGPM1A.
